John Daly spends night in jail after Hooters incident

News has surfaced from the weekend that golf star John Daly spent the night in jail after paramedics and police were called to a Hooters restaurant in Winston-Salem, N.C.

According to police reports, Daly had passed out at the restaurant and declined to go to the hospital for medical treatment. Police then took Daly to jail to allow him to sober up.

A friend of Daly's was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge, according to the Winston-Salem Journal. Daly, who has had public battles with alcoholism over his 21-year pro career, was not charged with any crime.
