CONWAY, Ark. — A shooting on the University of Central Arkansas campus has reportedly left two students dead and one wounded.
According to KLRT-TV, the deadly attack may have been a drive-by shooting, with up to 4 people riding in a white sedan.
One person died on the scene and the second died at Conway Regional Medical Center, according to a hospital spokesperson. The third person injured in the shooting was treated and later released from the hospital.
University of Central Arkansas police said Sunday night the campus was locked down and that classes would be canceled on Monday.
Little Rock television station KLRT reported from a news conference at UCA that campus police said one person was dead and two wounded in a shooting near Arkansas Hall. The shooting occurred a little before 10 p.m.
The UCA Web site says one suspect is in custody and that three more people are being sought.
