PITTSBURGH (KDKA) ― Robert Korbe, the man accused of shooting and killing an FBI Agent in Indiana Township, was already well-known to police from previous arrests for drug dealing.
Korbe is 39-years old.
He is originally from Etna, but currently lives in Indiana Township.
Korbe is married to his wife, Christina, who was reportedly also in the house when the shooting occurred.
Korbe has a criminal record involving drugs.
In 1991, he pleaded guilty to drug possession with the intent to deliver and gun charges and served probation.
In 1995, once again, Korbe pleaded guilty to drug possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy and once again got probation.
In May 2008, Korbe was arrested and charged with 22 different counts including aggravated assault, resisting arrest, escape and reckless endangerment after Sharpsburg Police say he fought with them outside a bar.
Police say Korbe was carrying 130 grams of cocaine at that time.
One unanswered question remains who owned the gun that was used to shoot Agent Hicks.
As a convicted felon, Korbe would not have been allowed to own a gun.
