Misty May-Treanor out of Dancing with the Stars show, She has injured her Achilles tendon and is out of the competition.

"Dancing With the Stars" has lost one hoofer.

Beach volleyball star Misty May-Treanor, 31, confirmed on Monday night's installment of the show that she has injured her Achilles tendon and is out of the competition.

Rumors about her exit from the show began to fly earlier on Monday, when fellow "Dance" competitor Brooke Burke spilled the beans on a radio show about the extent of May-Treanor's injury.

Toward the end of Monday's show, May-Treanor hobbled onto the stage to chat with host Tom Bergeron, who graciously offered her a chair. Viewers were treated to clips of May-Treanor grimacing in pain as she suffered the injury during a rehearsal.
